I started my small business because I believe that we all deserve to have products that are good for our bodies and good for our planet. We create products using plant based oils, moisturizing butters and additives such as aloe vera and coconut milk. These natural ingredients are filled with antioxidants, vitamins and minerals that will soothe, heal and nourish our bodies.

It all started in 2008 when my husband Bob and I decided to move aboard a 40 foot sailboat and cruise the Caribbean. We sold or donated most of our possessions and moved aboard our boat determined to live a simpler life.  Our travels took us up and down the eastern Caribbean where we were greeted with warmth and kindness from the beautiful people that call these islands home. We were so fortunate to take part in their many traditions and learn about the history of each of these special islands.  One of my favorites things was learning how to use the abundant bounty that grew on these islands. I found it fascinating that you could take fruit from a tree or leaves from a bush and turn them into healing salves, balms and creams, all without synthetic ingredients or chemicals created in a lab. I was amazed to say the least.

When we retuned from our travels in 2017, I started to take notice of all our mass produced products and all the ingredients in a "simple" bar of soap that I couldn't recognize, let alone pronounce. Plus all the plastic for liquid soap that ends up in our landfills and oceans. That's when I decided to take the lessons learned, and became committed to learning as much as possible about using natural ingredients. I challenged myself to use these ingredients to produce a bar of soap that would not only cleanse my body but to nourish it and moisturize it as well.

This new adventure has become a passion.  I love what I'm doing, I love creating these beautiful products that are so good for you. The continued research feeds my brain and the products I produce feed my soul. I hope you will enjoy my products as much as I love making them. Thanks for stopping by.
